Architecture – Unknown Place in Balham, London

from £40.00

This piece started as a photograph taken in Balham by my friend Petra Marton, an excellent photographer based in Utrecht, Netherlands. Petra has a sharp eye for architectural detail, capturing the rhythm and repetition of everyday structures with striking precision.

I transformed her photograph into an illustration, shifting the medium but keeping the essence of her vision intact. The result is a collaboration that bridges photography and graphic interpretation — two perspectives on the same subject, each amplifying the other.

A simple street view becomes something more: a study in geometry, repetition, and urban atmosphere. Proof that with the right collaboration, even the most ordinary corners of the city can turn into extraordinary artworks.

The prints are available in two sizes, A3 and B2, produced as high-quality digital prints on 300gsm silk paper. (Please note: the frame is not included.)

Each print is carefully packaged in a postal tube with a sheet of tissue paper for added protection, ensuring it arrives in perfect condition.

I hope these works bring as much joy to fellow architecture lovers as I felt while creating them.
